1934
 250cc Model DS1 or US2 only:

  1. Duplex cradle frame with 54” wheelbase – braze welded construction.
  2. 3 1/2 pint oil tank mounted in front of engine crank cases.
  3. Adjustable rubber Dunlop saddle.
  4. Leather fronted toolbox.
  5. High frequency Lucas Altette horn.
  6. ‘C’ section mudguards enameled black, with ribs pinstriped in Gold.
  7. Chevron transfer on front mudguard with small gold Stevens transfer on rear guard.
  8. Rear guard with detachable rear section.
  9. Rear spring up stand with front stand incorporated as mudguard stay.
  10. Fully enclosed primary chain case – enameled black.
  11. Spring tensioned rear chain guard secured to rear brake backing plate – enameled black.

  13. Black enameled tank (STD) with continuous gold lines from front to back encompassing the kneepads. Optional chrome plated tank, with black panels lined in gold.

  2. A steel toolbox with Chevron transfer same as front guard.
  3. Large gold `Stevens` transfers on petrol tank.
  4. 3 gal black petrol tank Std. Each side lined in two sections with gold pinstripes. One section lined in front of the knee pads with the other lined to the rear of the knee pads.
  5. Chrome plated tank offered as an option.
  6. Combined Stop / Tail light fitted to new larger tail light assembly. Lucas ST20 or ST20A.
  7. Rubber mounted 1” handlebars.
  8. 80 M.P.H. Smiths Speedo offered as an extra – driven from front hub.
  9. Collapsible foot rests.

350cc Model HL3 or LL4  (with optional Competition Kit for HL3)

  1. Same as 1935 - 250cc with larger bore.

500cc Model LP5 or HP6 (with optional Competition kit for HP6)

  1. Similar to 250/350cc models and introduced later in the year, with:
  2. New frame with heavier tubes and longer, 55”, wheelbase.
  3. Built in sidecar lugs.
  4. Non adjustable rubber saddle.
  5. Oil tank mounted on seat post with “constant feed” oil system.
  6. 7” ribbed brakes fitted front and rear.
  7. Large 3 1/4 gal black enamel petrol tank with left hand filler and lined with gold.
  8. Chrome plated tank offered as an option.
  9. Front and rear mudguards lined with gold pinstripe.
  10. New spring loaded rear chain guard with separate covers for upper and lower chain runs.
  11. Hairpin O.H.V. Springs.
  12. Inlet port inclined at 15 deg. down.
  13. Heavy duty Burman 4 speed gearbox.

1936
250cc Model DS1 or US2. (with optional Competition Kit for US2)

  1. Same as for 1935 with:
  2. 3 gal petrol tank with right hand filler, enameled Black and lined in Blue with fine gold pinstriping.
  3. Chrome wheel rims with black centers lined in Blue.
  4. New front mudguard heavily valanced with large mudplate.
  5. Oil tank mounted on seat pillar tube.

350cc Model HL3 or LL4 (with optional Competition Kit for HL3)

  1. Same as 1936 250 model with:
  2. 3 1/4 gal petrol tank with Left hand filler.
  3. New Megaphone muffler.
  4. Heavy Duty Burman 4 Speed Gear Box.

500cc Model LP5 or HP6 (with optional Competition Kit for HP6)

  1. Same as for 1935 with:
  2. New front guard with heavy valancing (same as 1936 – 350cc models).
  3. 3 1/4 gal petrol tank with new Blue / Gold pinstriping (same as 1936 – 350cc models).
  4. New Megaphone muffler (same as 1936 – 350cc models).  

1937
250cc Model DS1 or US2 (with optional Competition Kit for US2)

  1. Same as1936 model with:

  3. 3 1/4 gal petrol tank with left hand filler.

1938

  • Some bikes produced from spare parts, upon request
  • Assume specifications as for 1937 but earlier parts may have been used to clear the remaining stock of spares.
  • This year the factory turned their manufacturing to defence work.
